Single-vehicle crash claims one life in Gooding County

According to the Idaho State Police (ISP), one person has died from a single-vehicle crash in Gooding County.

ISP says the crash occurred around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday near mile marker 148 on I-84 in Gooding County, Northwest of Wendell, Idaho.

The 27-year-old Lubbock, Texas, man was driving a 2011 Ford Edge eastbound on I-84 when he went off the left shoulder, then overcorrected and rolled the vehicle.

Witnesses transported the man to a medical center before being life-flighted to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.

The man was wearing a seatbelt.

ISP is continuing to investigate this crash.
